10 Supporting Business and Employment Website Development Programme TheWebsite and E-Commerce Development Programme delivers support tomore than 25 businesses throughout the district who either have limited or no digital presence to help them set up/ improve their website and/or launch or improve their e-commerce platform. The Programme will assist existing businesses across all sectors to realise their potential through on-linemeans, thereby helping them to overcome geographical locations, gain new customers, lower costs, eliminate travel time and cost and create newmarkets. Workshops, Conferences & Seminars Throughout the year the Council’s Economic Development Section hosts a comprehensive series of workshops and events covering relevant and topical subjects tailored to the needs of the local community. Events include presentations, guest speakers, seminars and training courses onmultiple subjects including e-commerce, digital marketing and tendering aimed at all business sectors within the district. The Council also delivers EnterpriseWeek in partnershipwith a range of relevant stakeholders, again offering amyriad of free business support events in a wide range of locations throughout the district to support and develop our indigenous business base. Youth Entrepreneurship Fermanagh &OmaghDistrict Council sponsor a number of youth entrepreneurship initiatives to support the development of entrepreneurial skills and aspirations of young people across the district. Women in Enterprise Challenge 2018 - 2021 Fermanagh &OmaghDistrict Council is part of an 11 Council Collaboration promoting a newWoman in Enterprise Challenge 2018-2021. The programme is delivered byWomen in Business and aims to promote female enterprise, increase the numbers of women considering starting a business and encourage existing female entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. EnterpriseWeek EnterpriseWeek is five-days of free business events, workshops, seminars and networking opportunities aimed at all business sectors including anyone considering starting a business, new start-ups, established SMEs as well as any individual with an interest in business. The week long event is delivered by Fermanagh &OmaghDistrict Council and supported by local enterprise agencies Fermanagh Enterprise Ltd andOmagh Enterprise Company Ltd with the aimof fostering enterprise across the district.
