Contact ASPIRE Omagh: 028 8224 6535 or ASPIRE Fermanagh: 028 6632 6478 This project is part funded through the Northern Ireland European Social Fund Programme 2014-2020 and the Department for the Economy Northern Ireland ERDF Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme The Council has successfully secured funding towards two Programmes aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from the 2014-2020 Northern Ireland ERDF Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme. The Programmes are also part-funded by Invest NI and the Council. The Kick Start Programme This programme offers business support to micro businesses which have previously completed the Regional Start Initiative or new Business Start-Up Programme. It aims to increase business survival rates and assist local businesses in developing and creating additional employment. Kick Start includes workshops and mentoring support in key business topics such as accessing finance, recruitment of staff, financial bookkeeping and marketing. The Advancing Business Growth Programme This programme offers support to growing businesses in operation for a minimum of two years with a turnover of over £50,000 and which have the potential to create additional employment. The Programme provides a range of business support in areas including sales and marketing, research and development, exporting and growing the digital economy. The Council, in conjunction with Enterprise Northern Ireland, Omagh Enterprise Company and Fermanagh Enterprise Limited, are continuing to deliver the Business Start-Up Programme throughout the district. For clients wishing to start a business, the Programme provides a comprehensive support package which culminates in advice and guidance on the development of a robust business plan from accredited business advisers.
