We also worked hard to continue to provide critical services such as household waste collection, registration services and cemetery provision to residents in line with restrictions, during the height of lockdown. We remain committed to ensuring the safety of the general public and our staff, to continuing to deliver essential services to residents in line with restrictions and with the minimum of disruption and to supporting our local communities and businesses. Here we look back at key Council activity in numbers, since March. New online services We have introduced a range of additional online services to make it easier for you to get in touch, do business with the Council and take part in Council programmes or initiatives at this time. New online services include: • Web chat via the Council website, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm • Dedicated COVID-19 webpage available on the Council homepage • Live streaming of Council and Committee meetings via the Council’s YouTube channel • Online events, talks, webinars and workshops Don’t forget, you can also book your next visit to the gym, purchase a new bin, renew a dog licence, pay a bill, check what bin goes out when, plus much more, by logging on to the Council website.
