Corner SWAP (South West Age Partnership) is the age sector network in Fermanagh and Omagh. SWAP works specifically with anyone living locally aged 60+. Our aim is to improve the health and well-being of older people through a variety of support programmes. We can provide activity projects for people aged 60+ at home and also projects to support clubs working with older people. We also run a variety of programmes on zoom and face to face, see the calendar for some of the activities we are running in October. People aged 60+ living in the Fermanagh Omagh area are welcome to attend a SWAP Cluster meeting in your area. Check the calendar for more information. Items can include, knee blankets, hats, scarves or gloves and entries can be knit or crocheted. Once the competition has closed, each adult “Winter Woolly” that has been entered will be gift wrapped and donated to an older person living within our community. You can send a hat, scarf or pair of gloves to the address below, however these won’t be entered into our competition. Or if you have unused knitting needles or wool these can be donated for knitters to use. Winners announced on Fuel Poverty Awareness Day on Friday 2 December 2022 with a prize of oil stamps.
