Mother and Baby Homes and Magdalene Laundries Investigative Team The Police Service of Northern Ireland are currently investigating Mother and Baby Homes and Magdalene Laundries/Workhouses between 1922 – 1990. The investigative team are keen to reach as many people affected by these institutions as possible, as well as any witnesses to potential criminal activity that occurred there.
