The Marble Arch Caves, one of NI’s top visitor attractions, nestled within the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, has extended its traditional opening season so people can enjoy the spectacular showcaves and surrounding area throughout all seasons. Guided cave tours are now available all year (weather permitting, please check before you visit) while a range of ‘above the ground’ experiences are also on offer for all age groups. The popular family ‘Elf Trail’ also makes a return to the Marble Arch Caves this festive season. Visitors to Gortin Glen Forest Park can now enjoy a whole range of new facilities thanks to our ongoing partnership working with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA). Following on from the opening of the state-of- the-art destination play park and development of walking trails in 2020, the park now boasts 13km of award winning red and blue grade mountain bike trails, horse riding facilities, improved campsite, new BBQ and picnic shelters, additional parking plus much more! A bike hire and uplift service and café facilities are also available on site. District Electoral Areas Focus on Enniskillen DEA Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is made up of seven District Electoral Areas (DEAs). In this issue of in-FO we take a closer look at Enniskillen DEA which is made up of six electoral wards - Castlecoole, Erne, Lisbellaw, Lisnarick, Portora and Rossorry.
