2022-2032 Vistitor Experience Development Plan

A key theme identified throughout the development of this plan is the challenge in measuring performance holistically across the destination. Some destinations have invested in measuring economic outputs such as visitor spend or overnight stays, yet much of the data we are working with is incomplete at best and missing or wrong at worst. Ultimately, this data will drive investment, partnerships and improved collaboration across sectors within Fermanagh and Omagh. A collaborative approach across stakeholders is required to develop comprehensive and collaborative data collection across performance measures. As the plan is framed within the VICE model, progress of the VEDP will be measured against impact on; ● Visitors, ● Industry, ● Community, ● Environment.
