Event Details: •Date and Time: Saturday 20th June 1pm to 3pm • Meeting point : Aughaweenagh/Fartrin Bog, 3CH4+6JQ Aughaweena, County Cavan. (54.0780759, -7.5933974) • Duration: 2 Hours in total but come and go as you please during that time • Booking: Drop-in session no need to book • Access: easy but uneven under foot Facilities : • limited carpark • NO DOGS – ground nesting bird season What to bring: •Water and snacks • Suitable outdoor clothing and wellies No booking required Shared Bogs, Shared Futures Project Discover your local Peatland Join Róisín Black, Peatland Engagement Officer, and the West Cavan Bog Association for an engaging event exploring your local peatland and the important role communities can play in protecting these rare habitats. Róisín will bring monitoring equipment for visitors to try, along with sweep nets and bug pots so families can enjoy discovering mini-beasts up close. Tea and coffee will be provided. Saturday 20 June
