“I wanted to give something back to the community, so I registered to volunteer with the Beyond The Call Project doing the telephone befriending service. It has been such a joy to be connected with the clients, and it doesn’t take up too much of my time. I not only get to talk to clients, but I also have the opportunity to meet up regularly with other volunteers in my team….I have made great friends. Iam now registered to be a home befriending volunteer and I am really looking forward to it”.
