It is a difference in neurological development that affects how a person processes information and interacts with their environment. Each autistic individual is unique and has significant strengths that need to be nurtured and celebrated. As a grandparent or family member it is important to understand what these brain differences are and find out more about how to best support autistic young people and adults. WHSCT, FODC & SWAP are holding sessions on 18 & 20 October (check the calendar for more details). If you would like to register to attend please contact disability@fermanaghomagh.com .
