Omagh Comic Fest Saturday 8 September Time 10.00 am - 7.30 pm Price FREE On September 8th Comic Fest comes to Omagh, with a festival celebrating comic art and culture, and promoting sequential art and storytelling! There will be Guest creators from all across the UK and Ireland who have worked for Marvel, DC, 2000 AD and other publishing companies to sign and sketch as well as cosplayers dressed as your favourite characters, local small-press creators and stalls with merchandise and comics for sale. There will also be panel talks and interviews as some of our Guests discuss how they started off in comics and their work. For anyone, young or old, who’s interested in comics this is an event you can’t miss. So, come along to take part, meet the creators and celebrate comics! Wednesday 12 September Time 7.00 pm Price £3.00, Parent/Carer £1.00 Black Moon is a Fermanagh and Omagh District Council event for adults with a disability. Come along to the monthly disco to dance the night away, socialise and make new friends. The DJ will be playing a range of music from ABBA to Derek Ryan. The Bar will be open for attendees to purchase a drink or some snacks. If you can come independently you are welcome to do so; if you need to bring someone to support you, they will only be charged the discounted rate.
