Action Plan Defining Age Friendly Following review of the previous Strategy, analysis of survey and consultation feedback and discussion by the AFA, the action plan has been developed to reflect work across the following thematic areas, which will contribute to the WHO Age Friendly domains while reflecting locally expressed need and circumstances: Infrastructure Participation and Accesssion Tackling Isolation Health and Wellbeing WHO DOMAINS The thematic action plans overleaf will contribute to the Community Plan shared outcome: “Older people lead more independent, engaged and socially connected lives” The action plans will be supported by annual implementation plans which set out detailed actions and milestones across the following timeframe: Year 1 April 2026 to March 2027 Year 2 April 2027 to March 2028 Year 3 April 2028 to March 2029 Year 4 April 2029 to March 2030 https://qrco.de/FODC-Age-Friendly The annual implementation plan is available on the Council Web Page: and by contacting the Age Friendly Officer.
